Now I have "white and nerdy" stuck in my head... :)

Hi all!

It’s the weekend!  Well, for me at least!  I don’t have too much to share at this point, since I’m definitely falling into a routine, but here’s a quick recap of the past two days:

Wednesday—class, hanging out in the courtyard on campus, enjoying the sunshine, more class.  Last night we went out to a bar called Maloney’s, which is a hole-in-the-wall, Americanized bar.  Pretty small, but they played good music (a lot of 90’s stuff!).  And for a while, it was just my group of friends—private party!  :)  After Maloney’s, I went to “Ladies’ Night” at Orange Café with a few girlfriends.  That is definitely my favorite dancing/club place so far.  It was huge and there were a lot of people there.  But we only stayed for about half an hour because we wanted to catch the metro to go home.

Thursday—Positive Psychology today started with the prof playing Weird Al’s “White and Nerdy.”  It occurs to me now that I have no idea what the point of that was, but that’s okay.  After class, I ate lunch (Nutella & peanut butter sandwich and 2 clementines) and then did my art history homework while again basking in the beautiful sun.  I was so sad when I had to go back inside for class and leave the sun!  Following class, Victoria and I walked to the park near campus and then figured out the best way to get there from where we live… it’s super close and will be perfect for sunbathing when it gets warmer!  (Notice how much of my life revolves around the sun?!)  Tonight I enjoyed a chill night at home and early to bed for me.

Have a great weekend everyone!
Mucho amor,
E
